Hi Everyone,
First of all, thank you for your patience. I know how frustrating this has been. I also apologize for not being responsive over the last weeks. I have been desperately trying to figure out how to fulfill the US orders. I also can let you know that I have absolutely NOT run off with any of the Kickstarter funds. I know that many of you may have received an email from Bakeys stating what his issues are. The situation is more complex than the email makes it seem. Having said that, prior to launching this campaign, the agreement was that I would be the distributor here in the US and he was to send me the spoons in bulk so I could ship them out. That is how we came up with the shipping pricing. Having said that, I have yet to receive these spoons. In addition, prior to sending any more funds to Bakeys, I had asked for a detailed outline of what the $150K I did send him was spent on and I do not have this accounting from him as of yet. Therefore, as soon as he responds to the email I sent him, (no response yet) and we discuss what needs to happen in order for him to ship the spoons so that I can start fulfilling orders. I will come back with a full update as soon as I get a response. He said that I won't answer his calls but I want you to know that I specifically asked him to email me, not to call. That way we will be able to be held accountable for what is said to avoid misunderstandings. I think this is key to resolving everything with integrity and accountability as quickly as possible!
